Winter Academy on International Arbitration

The Winter Academy on International Arbitration, co-organized by the Luiss School of Law and the CIDS Geneva Center for International Dispute Settlement, brings together several partners from leading global law firms alongside legal counsel from ICSID and the PCA.

The program covers fundamental and emerging topics in international arbitration, including climate change arguments, interim relief, and the New York Convention. Participants explore specialized fields such as construction disputes, state-involved arbitration, corruption allegations and investment protection reform.

Designed to deliver practical insights beyond academic textbooks, each session pairs in-depth analysis of high-level topics with exclusive career interviews, insider hiring perspectives, and dynamic Q&A sessions.

The course is directed by Zachary Douglas, Full Professor of International Law, Luiss Guido Carli
