This intensive one-week program (from 25th November to 29th November 2019) will cover the following topics:
- An overview of regulatory bodies on food law
- Big data and One Health
- Digital epidemiology
- Trade-related foodborne Infections
- Future food traceability systems
- Animal diseases, plant health and trade
- Mycotoxins in food
- Chemical residues on agricultural products
- Trade from post-war settings
Each topic will be led by a leading academic expert and/or professional. Issues will be examined using a system design approach to foster meaningful interactions and debates among participants. Finally, participants will work in a group assignment on a specific topic that will be the basis for follow-up discussions and analyses.
Throughout the week, participants will be assisted by in-class academic tutors from both the Luiss School of Law and the University of Florida’s One Health Center of Excellence.
