Organised in collaboration with University of Florida Frederick G. Levin College of Law and One Health Center of Excellence in Research and Training at the University of Florida.

Luiss School of Law and University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law and One Health Center of Excellence have joined forces to organize the first global executive course on applying the One Health vision to the trade of food and agricultural products. In this course we condense the elements that define the complex interconnections between food production and trade in a scenario of  evolving regulations, and in the face of current agricultural crises which can affect national and local economies.

During this course, students and professionals from diverse career paths will be exposed to background information and to international organizations governing and affecting trade policies of agricultural products, to interactive sessions during which they will be learning about crisis situations linked to animal and plant diseases, food contaminants, and invasive species. Particular attention will be devoted to international legal issues associated with food traceability, blockchain, and the use of big data to improve our management skills.

This unique and innovative intensive executive course will involve classes and group work under the academic and professional leadership of Prof. Ilaria Capua, Director of the University of Florida One Health Center of Excellence.
