International and European Food Trade Regulation “Understanding international customs regulation”

As to partecipate to the admission procedure, candidates need to satisfy the requirements as provided by the Academic Regulation of the Summer School (Bando):

The course aims to provide in-depth knowledge of international, European and regional Regulations governing the import and export of agri-food products. The course programme includes analysis of both general international rules (e.g. tariff calculation and harmonised system, rules of origin, simplification of customs procedures and policies) and those contained in specific agreements designed to ensure a preferential system. Special attention will be paid to the comparative analysis of the systems in force in the United States, Canada, China and ASEAN countries, with the study of concrete cases of import and export of agri-food products from and to these geographical areas. The Faculty of the course will be made up of experts in international commercial law from leading Italian and European universities, specialized law firms, international organizations and agri-food companies of international scale.
